Homegrown Small Business Grant Winners Announced

Defiance County’s Economic Development recently announced the latest round of small business grant winners, proudly sponsored by Premier Bank/WesBanco.

This quarter’s awardees all received $500 each to use toward their business expenses. The awardees are as follows:

1.) Jennifer Davis, SheFiit

2.) Austin Carder, MAC Companies LLC 

3.) Peyton Denning, Poppi Poo’s Company LLC 

4.) Annette Miller, Indigo Therapeutic Massage & Bodyworks 

5.) Cody Workman, The Doggy Cleanup Team LLC 

6.) Lynette Bak, Tender Touch Pet Salon 

7.) Andrew Trinko, X & J Trucking LLC 

The winners above had to meet certain requirements, including meeting with Lisa Becher with Northwest State’s Small Business Development Center.  The goal of this meeting is to develop a business plan or growth plan. This is a service with no cost and great benefits to make sure you are prepared to start your business or scale up your existing business
