Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce

Founded in 1938 formerly as The Defiance Civic Club, The Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce is well-known throughout Defiance for where business and community connections happen.

The Chamber team provides services and resources to cultivate a growing and thriving business community. This team includes the Chamber Board of Directors, Executive Director, Sarah Tackett, and Marketing & Events Coordinator, Jessica West. With over 375 members throughout the region, The Defiance Area Chamber of Commerce has a wide reach and is a great source for networking.

Director Sarah Tackett said that she is very proud of the Chamber organization and all of the benefits it has to offer. “I’m so proud to be leading this outstanding professional organization that has been a key champion of local business for more than 80 years. We seek to improve how business and community communicate, collaborate, and connect. Over the past two years, we have been working to clarify our identity, move the organization forward, help people understand what we do, and develop ways to better serve our members.
